A Year at a Glance..We won't Fade into Darkness...
This will be a long post so bare with me. Since I've been gone for so long I need to catch you guys up on whats going to happen with DMR Beatz soon. Well I've been approached by many of the fan website telling us face to face how we do what we do. Maz3 spends endless hours on other blogs/forums/websites. Myself I do the same thing plus twitter/soundcloud amongst other things. At least each we week we compile roughly 100-150 songs that we haven't listened to and have literally a week or even a few days to put them through different various "lists". Much of what you see on our website is the final product of hard(but VERY fun) labour.
Christmas was fantastic this year. Got to eat a ton of turkey and spending every moment I could with my loving girlfriend. Cara <3 you. Jimb0x decided to want to get us to do podcasts. I decided for myself and the musical direction I wanted to go to is to go solo on this one. Maz3 and I will still be doing the blog together but when it comes down to mixes and my eventual podcast launching SOON...it will purely be myself.
He will be back in school so say bye to Maz3 for awhile. School hits and unfortunately for us here at DMR Beatz the originator of the "Best Music" finder will be posting less. He solidified that title with his Skrillex Remix of Levels on the first day it was released. For myself I took alot of tips from Maz3 and just starting soaring from there. Maz3 and I have NEVER thought the blog would get this much attention and we thank you guys the fans for supporting us once again. Started in April and on average hit about 100 hits per day and for that we thank you. Our Facebook "like" counter may not show for it but I know you're out there.
Getting affiliated with Vexare and ShuffleFunn spread our website into Finland and into the United States and I also thank those 3 for helping us spread across the pond and into our neighbors back yard.
It was very humbling for me on NYE's Eve barely getting out of the shower and having your bathroom filled /w at the hotel room we rented...having people shaking your hands through the shower curtain and still much more while my towel was still on. Weirdest experience of all...but when NC yells "Who likes RiX's website?" everyone is the room roared...Got one of the hotel security guards asking us to simmer down right after that. A room meant for 2 people held about 20 people for pre-drinks to the Gala downstairs.
I know I was shrugging off the love...I admit. I'm not used to it. To those asking questions about the blog...I wasn't trying to ignore you I was simply frantically trying to organize everything for you guys to get even more drunk while my DJ RiX - Massive Eve played in the background.
*breathes* SO last but not least. In short: Holidays were fun, NYE was great, Back to work...so let's work bitches...
These songs are NOT strictly 2012 releases because c'mon its only been 4 days. Tail end releases coming right up...
Download Instructions: If you like the song...you can simply click the title :)
[Sexy Electro House Progressive Shuffle]
Avicii - Fade Into Darkness (Albin Myers Remix)
For those who were at the concert last week. Mind = Blown right? Avicii is the real deal. Haters stop fucking hating on Avicii. Embrace it...enjoy it. Music isn't about who the best is and who is the best that. Leave that drama for the rap. We as listeners should thank the higher powers that they don't have that type of attitude with eachother. Avicii isn't going anywhere. Levels has launched his careers where he never though possible. Thanks DcoKilla.
Tonite Only - Haters Gonna Hate (Nicky Romero 'Out of Space' Remix)
Ah that fantastic Dirty Dutch. Nicky Romero is soon becoming one of my most favorite artists of all time. He consistently delivers awesome on a platter of beautiful china. It's a shame that the current release of Fuck School is the bunk shit version that everyone tries to pass off as the legit 320kbps.
Dadalife - Happy Violence (Special Features Remix)
I wasn't impressed with the original but thats not a problem because I still <3 Dadalife. The Special Features Remix gave me a new appreaciation for the track. It's great.
Sander Van Doorn Feat Kele Feat. Lucy Taylor - What Did I Do
Sander Van Doorn does what he does best. ESPECIALLY with female vocals on the track. I'm not a huge (Original Mix) kind of guy as I'm always looking for the craziest shit in the world of remixes because 9/10 times they are better than the original. Remember Levels? Ya I can't even listen to the original anymore. Skrillex or Cazzette that bad boy for me.
DJ Kuba & NE!TAN Feat. Anna Montgomety - Take it To the Top (Cherry Coke 'Levels' Remix)
Like I said above...'Levels' done in a completely different way you don't even recognize. Enjoy
[Bob Bang Bob Bang Bob Bang RAAAGE]
Zeds Dead - Hit Me
Our local Canadian Boys are surely raping ears and 'causing massive damage to the neck and cerebral cortex at their shows...well for a reason. When you hear their shit its almost like you wanna enter "Godmode" and just go. You'll feel like shit for the next day because there is no such thing as "Godmode" IRL.
Zeds Dead - Adrenaline
Another massive track for ZD.
Skrillex - Kyoto Feat Sirah (Gladiator Remix)
I don't know much about Gladiator but in order to make yourself huge you remix people that are already huge namely the one they call Sonny Moore.
Zedd - Slam The Door
This is a banging track. Makes you want to slam the fucking door.
Skrillex Feat. Ellie Goulding - Summit (Aylen Remix)
Aylen is one of my most favorite remixers behind Cazzette, Alesso, Nicky Romero, Gemini...and well I have a long list. Aylen is relatively unknown mainstream wise. But anytime I see Aylen I autodownload. PS. R3hab.
Megaclown - RAWRRR
Megaclown has been making waves lately just dropping tracks left and right. I enjoy his Dubstep because its not the hard version but its got +style points+
Megaclown - Bonne Annee
Another solid track by the Clown of Mega
Last but not least...
DJ Fresh Feat. Rita Ora - Hot Right Now (Zomboy Remix)
