Movamber Alert

This isn't the regular norm here at DMR...so here goes...

I just caught wind of this today, one of my friends Mish is doing a fundraiser for Movamber annnd just so happens that my girlfriend is ALSO doing that too!! Crazy!! Supporting the "boys" for prostate cancer and bringing awareness. I'm not much of a 'stache kind of guy. #1 I look like a perv - #2 I don't like to look like a perv. So this is how I'm supporting.


So far as of this post Amie's Team(Team Captain) has accumulated over $700! Hopefully I can bring awareness to their support for research of this cancer(grammer issue I know). Let's raise some money. Donating anywhere from $5 - $10 - $100 - $1000 will do just fine...hahaha.

What is prostate cancer?


"Prostate cancer starts in the cells of the prostate gland. The prostate is part of the male reproductive system. Its main function is to make part of the liquid (seminal fluid) that mixes with sperm from the testicles to make semen. Semen is ejaculated during sex.


The prostate is about the size of a large walnut. It is located close to the rectum just below the bladder at the base of the penis. The prostate surrounds the urethra, the tube that carries urine and semen through the penis.


Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in Canadian men. It usually grows slowly and can be often be cured or managered successfully."
