Maz3lsug and I (RiX) would like to thank everyone for their massive support for our blog. Namely those in my inner circle of friends. Thanks for being annoyed by me and my facebook/twitter spam. We have only been around for about 6 months as a blog and have accomplished alot of things. Getting our first featured artist /w ShuffleFunn and now they are signed by Betty Beat Records I believe. Talking to the 15 year old phenom Vexare (check it out that right side of the blog) and getting him as our first ever affiliated artist. Posting massive tracks week after week, it's a very tough and rewarding job filtering music that we find on a day to day basis. For that I want to say another HUGE thanks to everyone who believes in us. Not to mention Dcokilla was the one who told us to download dropbox which started the chain reaction for everyone to share music. I'll never forget that.
I'm excited to announce that we secured the domain dmrbeatz.com as you will no longer need to add .blogspot.com anymore. Also I'm also going to announced that we recruited 2 more...well not bloggers but lets call them "Field Reporters" for our blog. Maz3lsug and I would like to welcome PartyPam(name subject to change) and Jimb0x to the DMR family. Maz3 and I don't go to shows as often as we should since I'm broken and Maz3 is in school, those 2 will be hitting the shows that are in Vancouver and where ever their budget takes them. DMR is always commited to finding the latest in EDM and Hip Hop/Rap Music and will stick to the mission of a post+ a week with great music and mixes. With the addition of those 2 we will be getting a live feel of the shows that hit the Vancouver market.

EDM is blowing up in mainstream music simply because of people such as David Guetta which happened to hit #1 on the DJ Mag Poll out of all the DJ/Producers to beat out 4 time champ Armin Van Buuren. David Guetta brought EDM to the spotlight and you hear it everywhere from Britney Spear hits, Jay-Z, Kanye, and Katy Perry tracks. I feel when David Guetta dropped Memories is what started the chain reaction for EDM to be placed in the spotlight. Something that trance was never able to do for years and years even with heavy hitters as Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren. Its no wonder David Guetta took the top spot away from Armin Van Buuren.
Alright enough with that official bullshit.

OK HOLY, I enjoyed the original of this song and I'm always looking for people to trump the original. Not surprised it was Mord Fustang. When Maz3 first showed me this kid, I was like damn.

I have the original but I didn't really like it all that much. DJ Viduta & Denis Salomatov remix'd it very well and made it..."harder". That is not what she said.
